3.BARBIE DOLL IN THE YEAR 2525
Circa 2525 A.D.
More than 500 years from now, interplanetary activities are common, just look at the posters advertising apartments for rent in Venus as well as trips and tours to Venus and Mars.
Technology doesn’t seem to have a limit. When Barbie needs to improve her looks she just heads off to the beauty salon to get a new body. Yes, a new body! Genetics and computer technology are so advanced that people can “renew” their original body at a fair price and painlessly. In a few hours, thanks to molecular bio-technology, the old body will be restored to its best and will be ready to continue life as always… or better.
No need to transfer brains to a new body, it is a new type of body trade: the old one for the same one but renewed.
Meanwhile, at the salon waiting area, a robot takes care of the hands of a customer who only wants to have pretty nails.
